Dr. Matthew Thornhill

Dr. Thornhill is a dedicated dental professional who has been delivering high-quality care in our community since 2022. Born and raised in West Monroe, he is proud to once again call it home. A graduate of West Monroe High School, Class of 2014, he went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

After completing his doctorate, Dr. Thornhill returned to North Louisiana to be closer to family. In 2023, he joined forces with Dr. Shepard to provide exceptional dental care to his hometown community. His practice emphasizes patient satisfaction, personalized treatment, and high-quality solutions. He believes in creating a supportive environment not only for patients, but for the entire dental team.

Guided by his Christian faith, Dr. Thornhill is deeply committed to fostering a culture of respect, compassion, and collaboration. He and his wife of eight years, Olivia, share one son, Samuel, who brings joy and adventure to their lives. They also have two dogs, Teddy and George, who are wonderful (and slightly spoiled) companions. As a family, they enjoy golfing, hunting, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
